The following additional components are not included, but are required for operation:

• • Light source, preferably dimmable growth lamp with 25 – 500 µmol photons m⁻² s⁻¹
  • Orbital shakers with an orbit between 10 mm – 30 mm and 100 – 300 rpm
  • powdered K₂CO₃ and KHCO₃ salt (technical grade) to prepare the CO₂ buffer solution
